Operation: Poisonberry

As per your request I have summarized all known information on the "Berrybabies" before we conduct "Operation: Poisonberry."

A "Berrybaby" is a creature of mysterious origin.   They seem to be anthropomorphic blueberry babies.  They are capable of "baby speech" and pronounce "l"s as "w"s.   Unlike the blueberry fruit, they grow in the ground.   The Berrybabies do not pass urine or feces and do not have genitals.   They are also capable of storing oxygen within their juice, although they respire as normal Tetrapod animals do.

Berrybabies are utterly dependent on a human caregiver.   The only things they can do themselves is cry, and flap their vestigial hands and feet.   However, they have limited mobility.   If placed on their feet, they can waddle slowly - provided the terrain is flat and obstruction free.

Berrybabies are very timid.   They cry often, predominantly when they are not getting what they want.   Most often the desire is to be comforted and to receive "love", but the normal "baby" things are usual reasons too.   An interesting behavior is that they are intelligent enough to spit out a  pacifier if one is inserted into their mouth before crying.

One last thing, Sir.   Berrybabies are absolutely terrified of the dark.   I recommend using this to our advantage, not only in the initial abductions, but throughout the duration of Poisonberry.
